Our Jamdani fabrics are handwoven and dyed using azo-free, eco-friendly dyes, making them gentler on the planet. As with all naturally dyed textiles, a slight colour bleed or softening of the shade may occur over time. This is a mark of the dye’s natural origin and adds to the fabric’s unique character.

With proper care, your piece will age gracefully and stay soft for years to come. To help your fabric retain its natural vibrancy and texture, please follow these care guidelines:

- Hand wash separately, or machine wash on a delicate cycle in cold water using a mild, non-bio detergent.
- For the first couple of washes, add a handful of table salt to the water; this helps fix the dye and prevent colour run.
- Do not soak or leave wet for long periods. A small amount of colour release during initial washes is completely normal for naturally dyed fabrics.
- Avoid fabric softeners.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Dry in the shade to prevent fading and preserve the richness of the colour.

Due to the handcrafted nature of Indian handlooms, slight variations and irregularities in the weave may occur. These are not imperfections, but reflections of the artisan’s hand, adding character, authenticity, and charm to every piece.

Subtle differences in texture, colour, and size may also occur. While we strive to represent colours as accurately as possible, they may vary slightly from what is seen on screen.
